Meet Our Team!
Doctors
Dr. Lee Baker began caring for children in Augusta and its surrounding areas in 2003 when he opened Center For Pediatric Dentistry.
As a specialist in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Baker has completed an advanced program of education. After receiving his doctorate of dental surgery in 1993 at the University of Tennessee- Memphis, Dr. Baker completed his two-year pediatric dentistry residency program at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Following his education, Dr. Baker started his career as a pediatric dentist in Anchorage, Alaska. The beauty and grandeur of this untouched wilderness left a lasting impression on Dr. Baker and his family. As a result, he brought a sample of the Alaskan wilderness back to Augusta, as seen in our office design and décor.
Dr. Baker’s family include his wife, Susie and four children, Lee, Jr, Mary Ellis, Alden and Ben. When he is not at the office, he enjoys traveling with his family. They enjoy attending Ole Miss Football games, fishing and hunting, and all things Disney.
I relocated to Evans, Georgia from Washington State and joined Center For Pediatric Dentistry in November of 2019. I enjoy the Alaskan themed décor of the building as I spent some time as a young child living in Alaska.
I completed my pre-doctoral studies at Walla Walla University and continued on to the University of Washington for dental school. I also completed a two year Pediatric Dental Residency with Lutheran Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. I am excited for the opportunity to provide specialized dental care for the children of this community.
When not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, which includes my wife Emily, and five sons: Hamilton, Maxwell, twins Montgomery & Winston and Quincy. We enjoy being outside, cooking and eating as a family and are avid sports fans.

I joined Center for Pediatric Dentistry in June 2003 as a front desk coordinator. I began a lifelong career in dentistry after graduating from Augusta Technical Institute’s dental assistant program in 1988. I added my education by completing my Associates degree in Business Management with Southern Wesleyan University in 2018. I have been privileged to work as a dental assistant, in the front office and as practice administrator. My prior experience in dentistry allows me to help in all areas of the office if needed. I also enjoy helping our families with any concerns they have about any aspect of their treatment here.
I joined the staff at Center for Pediatric dentistry in October 2003. I was born and raised in Augusta. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Augusta State in 1987. Working in dentistry has been very rewarding and I feel lucky to work with such a wonderful group of people. Everyone at Center for Pediatric Dentistry enjoys their job and our patients can tell. Our goal is to help the kids enjoy the dentist and we succeed!
I joined the staff at Center for Pediatric Dentistry in April 2012 as a sterilization technician. Since that time, I worked to earn my certifications as a dental assistant and am now using my clinical knowledge as a front desk coordinator. As it has always been my desire to work with children, I make it my goal to ensure each patient I have the pleasure of seeing has an enjoyable experience and leaves feeling comfortable! I am very thankful I get to work with such a great team of people every day!
Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, training MMA, and spending time with my husband & our dog, Wrangler.

I want each family to have a great dental experience when they visit our practice. “Use your smile to change this world but don’t let this world change your smile.” We are so lucky to have the ability to help each child smile their brightest! Prior to working in dentistry, I worked as an administrator in the childcare industry for 16 years. I also currently serve on the Children’s Hospital of Georgia’s Patient Advisory Board and Augusta University’s Transplant Patient Advisory Board. I joined the team at Center for Pediatric Dentistry in July of 2012. I previously worked in the dental field and always desired to be involved in dentistry again. I am very happy and blessed to be working with such a great group of individuals. I help them understand how they can use their benefits to the fullest so their children get the excellent dental care they deserve. I am also fluent in Spanish which allows me to assist our Spanish speaking families.

I deeply appreciate the opportunity of working for such a great team of people. While I do not get to interact with patients face-to-face very often, I do enjoy being part of a team that helps children take care of their precious smiles.
